My 2,400 Calorie Diet

By the time I reached Phase 2, I was pretty happy with my weight-loss (-13.5 pounds in 30 days). Therefore, I was concerned about changing up the ratios that had been working so well for me. After some research, I decided to keep the same "50/30/20" ratios I had been using, but add approximately 400 calories or so to my daily caloric intake. My intent for keeping the same ratios was obviously to continue the same rate of fat loss and weight loss I was experiencing. However, because I was becoming more and more fit, I needed some extra "fuel" to continue putting increased effort into the workouts – hence the extra calories.

Hey Pravir - I usually did two (2) servings of veggies per day. Around midday I'd do a starchier, high carb veggie like a yam or baked potato. Then with dinner I'd do a lower carb veggie like cauliflower, broccoli or carrots.

I used fruits, esp strawberries, as desserts. If you're supplementing, fruits more or less become insignificant from a nutritional standpoint!
